Jack Tar Bar, North Wharf of Auckland CBD Viaduct: What a great project to be part of, this bar was completely unique as the old empty warehouse had a used container storage feel about it from the 30’s.

Wooden pallets and old beer crates to be the shelving for the bat, large oversized steel ducting to hold cables clipped to old wooden framework and bring a real industrial feel, the flour on pallets to help create a raw and basic feeling that is 2nd to none.

The bar had a very short timeline from commencing to finish as the world cup was around the corner and the bar “must” be open.

Rod Harvey from Rod Con was definitely the builder for the job. If it was to happen – he was the man. We worked closely with Rod and worked around the clock to have this great project completed in 6 weeks. The owners Pete & Ben were wrapped. The bar was open and the customers came flocking.

This bar is located on the North Wharf at the Auckland CBD Viaduct, a “must visit” for an experience and fantastic food to remember. Great place for the overseas guests to be taken.

About Us

Our great company started back in 1997 with the 3 partners, Owen, Jim and Pete Mcinally.

Since then we have moved from a home run business, to a sub tenant business with various small storage areas and workshops to our 15 staffed team running very efficiently out of our East Tamaki Warehouse on Torrens Rd.
